Extension Activities

1. (2024–2025)
As part of the community extension activities, the Department of Commerce of Union Christian College, Aluva collected Rs. 17,000 from students and made a donation to the Peace Mission Centre, Kariyad on 18th March 2025.
The students enthusiastically participated in the fund collection, keeping up the spirit of humanitarianism. Contributions, in both cash and essentials, were very helpful for the indigent.

2. (2023–2024)
As part of the extension activities, the Department of Commerce visited the Old Age Home at Nazareth Convent, Edakkunnu on 19th December 2023.
This visit aimed to provide students with a glimpse into the lives of the elderly and the challenges they face. Students interacted with the residents, listened to their stories, entertained them with dance and music, and donated various essentials.

3. (2022–2023)

• Christmas Celebration Activity:
  The Department of Commerce celebrated Christmas with the members of the Welfare Trust Association, a charity foundation at Veliyathunadu on 23rd December 2022.
  This was organized to sensitize students towards social values and instill a sense of responsibility.
  Dr. Mansoor, the Chairperson of the Trust, spoke about the importance of enhancing empathy among youth. Students entertained the inmates with dance and music and donated various essentials.
• Social Extension Activity:
  As part of the social extension activities, students and faculty visited the Providence Home at Vilangu, Kizhakkambalam on 14th July 2022.
  Students entertained the inmates with dance and music and handed over grocery essentials.
