The Interdepartmental Forum of Commerce and Biosciences at Union Christian College, Aluva, organized an innovative programme titled “BioBiz: From Natural Craft to Entrepreneurial Art” on 16th October 2025. The event was a creative initiative aimed at bridging the gap between biological sciences and business by exploring the entrepreneurial potential hidden within natural crafts and bio-based ventures. The session was led by the students of the Department of Biological Sciences, who presented insightful demonstrations and models on aquaculture, vermiculture, and pet management, highlighting their economic and ecological significance.
The objective of the programme was to introduce students to the prospects of sustainable bio-entrepreneurship by transforming biological knowledge and natural practices into innovative, eco-friendly business opportunities.
