The Department of Commerce, Union Christian College (Autonomous), Aluva, in association with Logic School of Management and aVeranda Enterprise, organized a Career Orientation Session titled “Commerce is the Future: Exploring Opportunities in Business, Accounting and Finance” for the students on 27 July 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the MCA Conference Hall.
The session was handled by Mr. Shameem Pariyanghat, Revenue Head, Logic School of Management, who provided students with valuable insights into the emerging career opportunities in the fields of Business, Accounting, and Finance. He highlighted the evolving industry landscape, in-demand professional skills, career pathways available for commerce graduates, higher education opportunities, and the importance of industry-oriented training and certifications in building a successful career. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Rintu Jose, Head (In Charge), Department of Commerce, and coordinated by the faculty coordinators Ms. Sabeela K. Abdulsalam, Ms. Anitta Jose, and Mr. Sreeraj N. R. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the participants inspired and better prepared to pursue promising careers in the fields of Business, Accounting, and Finance.
