The Department of Commerce, Union Christian College (Autonomous), Aluva, organized an Orientation Session for the B.Com students on 30 June 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at MCA Conference Hall. The session was titled as “RBI Reelathon. The session was conducted with the objective of enabling the future generation to combat the rising threat of digital financial scams. By bringing awareness classes directly to college campuses, RBI officials tries to empower students to safely navigate digital banking, spot illegal loan apps, and avoid falling victim to online frauds.
The session helped students understand more on digital frauds and cyber security. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Sumitha Pankaj, Head of the Department, and coordinated by the faculty coordinators Mr. Sreeraj N R, Ms Ancy M and Ms. Meghana Martin . The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the participants better informed and motivated to understand more on cyber security.
