The Department of Commerce, Union Christian College (Autonomous), Aluva, organized a motivational orientation programme titled “Psycho-Cybernetics: The Power of Your Self Image” for the first-year B.Com students on 2 July 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the MCA Auditorium. The session aimed to help students develop a positive self-image, build self-confidence, and understand the importance of mindset in achieving personal and academic success. The resource person, Dr. Ali M. A, Psychologist, former Professor and Head of Government Engineering College, Thrissur, and a certified trainer, delivered an engaging and insightful talk, inspiring students to recognize their potential and adopt a positive outlook towards life. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Sumitha Pankaj, Head of the Department, and was coordinated by the faculty coordinators Ms. Anitta Jose, Mr. Sreeraj N. R., and Ms. Sabeela K. Abdulsalam. The session concluded with an interactive discussion, leaving the participants motivated to enhance their self-image and confidently pursue their academic and personal goals.
